This lamp is painted in the spirit of old tiger folklore, where the tiger is seen as a vessel of sacred strength, wild, powerful, and deeply protective. In many stories, the tiger carries the fierce energy needed to clear away chaos, guard the vulnerable, and move through the world with a kind of purposeful wildness.

I wanted this piece to hold that intention: a small, expressive tiger framed in soft lavender and leaf motifs, equal parts playful and formidable. A reminder that wildness can be a form of protection, and that strength doesn’t always roar...sometimes it simply glows.
