* Priced to reflect a minor imperfection—a shallow crease along the lampshade's crown, this piece delivers exceptional value without compromise to performance or presence. *

This lamp is painted with the spirit of the old tiger stories, those tales where the line between human, animal, and ghost grows thin. In many traditions, tigers are shapeshifters and spirit-beings, slipping between the wild world and the unseen one. Some stories tell of sorcerers who could become tigers, others of tiger spirits who walked like people, carrying messages or warnings. Even images of tigers were once kept as talismans of courage and protection.

I wanted this lamp to hold a little of that magic: the playful, powerful energy of a creature that lives right on the edge of the human world. The lavender wash and leafy motifs soften the wildness, letting the tiger feel both mythical and gentle, like a guardian visiting in a dream, lit from within.
